Accomodation

Accommodations We will be staying at Ti-se guest house in Kathmandu and tea houses home stay service during the trek. All accommodations are on a twin-shared basis. Although single rooms are readily available in Kathmandu and the trekking regions at the lower elevation, it might be difficult to find them at higher elevations.

Meal

Meals during the Trek, we can enjoy authentic Nepalese local food as well the more common international cuisine (Tibetan, Continental, Italian, Indian, etc.). Breakfast and dinner will be served from the tea-houses or from a lodge menu where we spent the night whereas lunch will be served on the way to the next destination. All meals will be provided during trekking while only breakfast will be available while in Kathmandu.

Best Season

The best time to trek is Autumn (Sept. to Dec.) and Spring (March to May). The treks during Winter and Summer (monsoon) aren’t impossible but just quite challenging. For the best experience, the early and late Spring and Autumn would be preferable due to less tourist traffic.

During the early Spring, the vegetations look fresh with early flowers starting to bloom in several kinds of plants. The villages are full of activity in preparation of family farms for planting the crops. The days are generally sunny due to which they offer good scenery.

The early Autumn is fresh green after a period of warm rainy days from summer monsoon. The month long Nepali festivals of Dashain and Tihar can also coincide and the harvest time also starts in many of the villages.

The early Winter (late Autumn) is also a very good time if one prefers lower elevations in the Himalayas.
